The Midsouth
The Midsouth Region serves SCBWI members who live in Kentucky and Tennessee. We have an active agenda of programs, events, and services to support our professional growth: an annual fall conference, a quarterly newsletter, an online listserv, an illustration blog Midsouth Illustration Blog, and various volunteer-organized activities. Midsouth_Kidbooks listserv

Many of our Midsouth members are members of the Midsouth_Kidbooks listserv which allows children's book authors and illustrators to interact, share information, offer advice, and receive announcements about events for writers and illustrators, including SCBWI events. It is technically not an SCBWI affiliated listserv, though. The listserv is free and open to anyone with an interest in writing and/or illustrating for children. You don't need to live in the Midsouth or be a member of SCBWI to join. Contact listserv moderator Evelyn Christensen for more information.
